• The free plan with geofencing stops at 10 users. Connecteam Small Business counts active and archived users together toward that limit, and allows 1 time clock and 1 job schedule. Above 10 users, geofencing needs a paid plan. Source

How to switch from Connecteam

1. Get your data out of Connecteam

1. Download your timesheets. Open Time Clock, select the time clock, and go to the Timesheets tab. Set the date range, click Export and select an export type. Connecteam gives timesheets as Excel (.xlsx) and PDF files. The Shift Report puts each shift on its own row. If you have more than one time clock, export each one, or use the Multiple Time Clock export, which is on Advanced and up. Source
2. Download your user list. Go to the Users tab, select the user fields to show, and click Export. Connecteam gives the list as a CSV or Excel file. Source
3. Download your files before you cancel. Connecteam says that if you cancel and get a full refund, you can no longer open your account. Source

2. Set up StampShift

1. Create your company and choose a plan. The Free plan needs no card. A paid plan starts with a 14-day trial, and you add a payment method.
2. Set your company timezone and the first day of your workweek in Settings. A new company starts on Eastern Time.
3. Add your job sites as work sites. Type the address or use your current location, then set the geofence radius. Work sites per plan: Free has 1, Starter has 10 and Growth and up have no limit.
4. Invite your team. Upload a CSV or Excel file of email addresses on the invite page, or share your company code. Each employee creates their own account.
5. Start clocking in with StampShift on the first day of a workweek. StampShift counts weekly overtime from its own hours only, so a start in the middle of a week leaves out the hours from earlier that week.
6. At the end of the pay period, export the hours in the format your payroll provider takes.

StampShift does not import past timesheets. Keep the files you downloaded from Connecteam for your records.

3. Cancel Connecteam

Only the account owner can cancel. Click your avatar, go to Settings, then Billing, and select Cancel my subscription. Connecteam says that the cancellation starts at the end of the billing period, and that you can use the account until then. It does not say how long Connecteam keeps your data after that. Source
